Stephanie McCulloch serves as Assistant Executive Director for TNWorks, a statewide workforce initiative focused on strengthening collaboration among Tennessee’s workforce, education, economic development, and human services agencies. In this role, she supports cross-agency strategy, employer engagement, talent development, and the coordination of workforce solutions that help businesses access skilled talent and support Tennesseans in pursuing meaningful employment opportunities.
Prior to joining TNWorks, Stephanie served as Executive Director of North AlabamaWorks!, where she facilitated partnerships among education and training providers, local businesses, workforce agencies, and community organizations to develop a skilled workforce aligned with the needs of North Alabama’s industries. Her work included supporting employer-driven training initiatives, strengthening talent pipelines, and connecting businesses with resources to address workforce challenges.
Before devoting her efforts to workforce development, Stephanie served as a City Planner for the City of Birmingham, where she gained experience in community planning, economic development, and collaboration with public and community stakeholders.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration and urban and regional planning from the University of Alabama and is pursuing a master’s degree in geospatial science at the University of North Alabama. Her professional interests include workforce strategy, regional collaboration, employer engagement, community development, and the use of data to support informed decision-making.
