The Northern Middle Workforce Board partnered with the Tennessee Builders Alliance to offer training for over 65 individuals seeking careers in the construction trades.
The Titans Construction Training Camp (TC2) provided 100 hours of paid training. Participants earned $18 per hour and received new tools and safety gear from DeWalt and Milwaukee Tools.
Four cohorts were completed, with the majority of candidates being justice-involved. Removing participant barriers is a priority for the Northern Middle Board. To support women in construction, one cohort prioritized female enrollment in the nontraditional construction sector.
